Yep thats the place, near Yarm. Would be in the massive grass car park if it gets the go ahead, keep your fingers crossed as they used to be some great weekends there, Regionals,Schumacher weekends, fire engine rally all used to host big buggy events, hope we can get the go ahead.

We used to have school trips to Preston Park when I was in the Infants / Juniors... awwh. Butterfly World is immense!

Many a happy trip spent there... I remember sitting on one of the big grassy hills eating a sandwich with my arm in a sling after I'd broken my arm... happy times.

Not sure why thats so good but i think we could replicate it

Exactly how and who would break your arm will need to be discussed but if it makes you happy then so be it.

p.s. what flavour sarnies would you like?

i really do hope it is at preston park. I only live in ingleby, which is less than five minutes away an di could probably bike there and it would take about 10-20 mins. But the best part is, i wouldn't have to ask anyone for a lift, my mum would actually be willing to take me.

How cool is that.

I could even go down one weekend with my buggy in my bag and some charged batterys to get in a little practise.

Josh there would only be one regional in Teesside as the Teesdale club is in a state of flux at the moment due to their track being damaged & the track may be developed upon by the owners of the land. The regional would be a joint effort between both clubs as i understand it.
Leggy, you couldn't practice there as there would be no track apart from when (& if) the regional weekend goes ahead, plus the council would have to approve use of the area so no realistic chance of getting in any practice.

Aye barry, got confused with the indoor one at teesside
But the minaiture railway, crazy golf and mental peacocks there would surely bring everyone from all around!

Also, how on earth can you take your stuff on a bike

Preston Park is where Teesside club are hoping to hold regionals this year. About 5-6 years ago they used to be held there through TRCC. Since the potential problem with Teesdale not being able to run, both clubs have spoken to each other & Preston Park is a possible alternative venue, but it is down to local council approval, hence the delay in getting an answer.
