Isn't a power switch suppose to do that? Swicth off when you press it if its on and VV?

What are you trying to do?

I think there are several options as to what the esc will do depending on how long/short time you press the botton. Have a read of the manual

Question

Hi.

I have a similar problem. Newly installed SpeedPassion Reventon Pro ESC match with a 7.5t SpeedPassion motor.
The ESC will calibrate then switch off as the maunual states.
When the ESC is switched back on and I try the throttle there is nothing and the ESC switches off.

Any ideas?

That's exactly like mine it worked fine set it up then turned it off turned it back in to give it a go and it won't stay on,
It's winding me up seems a right waste of money

I took it to the model shop I bought it from one night this week but they didn't have time to check all the possibile faults.

They even phoned Schumacher and they said put the earliest Firmware I can find on the ESC and try again. But still no luck. So it's back to the model shop Saturday morning for further investigation. Lol.

Hopefully it'll be sorted one way or another.

Luckily I've another DEX210 RTR I can race whilst the kit one gets sorted.

Hope you get yours sorted soon.

Here we go, I got an answer from a SP techy

Your radio, channel 2 (throttle), need to go to REVERSE (on the radio)....do that, then recalibrate with the ESC again.

Try it and see

No good I'm afraid I took it to the shop today and it turns out it's an internal software error, not bad for a brand new esc "great"

I had a similar problem with mine, upgraded the esc to the latest software etc. using It in a meeting on Sunday and it would work very well for three laps then stutter to a stop and you would not be able to turn it off with the switch, disconnect the battery reconnect and turn in then it would be ok for a lap then do it again. Checked for any obvious faults, sensor cable, connections etc still no good. It's back at schumacher being looked at at the min.

Well, I've been back to PBM today. We tried this with an Extronix Pulse EX3GPRO transmitter.
SpeedPassion Reventon Pro setup.
1. Switch on extronix transmitter.
2. Go to menu.
3. Select Reverse
4. Select throttle
5. Set to reversed.

And everything now appears to be working Ok.
The big test shall be tonight when I try a few laps though.
I'll update on this evenings results and if it continued to work later.
