Default SV2 alloy transmission

Evening All,
Just installed an alloy transmission, got it cheap.
Its all installed and ready to go but not raced with it yet.
I was wondering what difference this will make to the car?...and id there is anything I should be aware of?

Any thoughts much appreciated. Many Thanks.

I nearly brought one of these to dissipate motor heat into the g/b housing, and onto the chassis more.

They look like a lovely bit of CNC engineering

Glad I didnt pay full price for it, I payed £18 with all the gears and barings. I suppose its handy to have spares!
