Default thats right, another one.

so i was very bored today and decided to convert my losi to mid motor with the spare parts i had.

i basically copied one of the designs on here with that little aluminum brace. the rest i though of myself. i dont really have a reason for this but i wanted to try the mid motor and i still have all my original parts so this is completely reversible.

i havent tried it on a track yet but it runs well on my street and survived jumping speed bumps and flipping over.

the ghetto plastic battery strap will be changed to an aluminum one if i decide to keep this mod, i just wanted to get it done quick so i made a cheap one.

i also redid 2 of my packs into a new shape

awsome, mid motor 2wd must be the wayforward.. they feel soo much better than a normal 2wd car.. my 2wd racing has come on alot more since racing with the x-6..

i cannot fault the car one bit....

i wanted to try that modifacation on my old losi xxx but didnt want to gut a ok car, plus i never had enough spares to put it back right if i made an ass of it..
keep us updated how it goes on the track

got to race this thing today and im pretty happy with it. nothing broke and it handeled nicely jumping evenly and being pretty good in the turns. i didnt get too much forward traction though and kept spinning out, a day of setting up and testing would help that though possibly even softer springs in the rear.

i found it pretty good on bumps but the side of the tires were hooking and i was driving on 2 side wheels at times. but i cant really blame it on the car because my shocks are missing about half the oil and the seals kept leaking alot. also as i said above i havent had a chance to tune it yet but so far as it was it handeled better than my original xxx.
