yes your right lee with out adding weight it would probably be weird

To me the new car looks as good as the famous prototypes but much more refined...not at all compromised though......just easier to work on/maintain/durability/SENSE!
i personaly think this car will be quicker due to the odd mm here and there that has been added/shaved in the optomum directions determined by the old prototype project (Hara/Newman/Pinish/honigl/Reinhard/clauss/drescher/pavadis.etc)
the old cars were built up from donor parts of numerous other touring/offroad cars and were very brutaly sucessfull for a home made basic car and phenominaly easy to drive fast! but this new car is all gerd strenge not just a couple of components...he has looked at and designed each component personaly so its got to go quicker and be more durable ( he likes to make cars that finish a season, not just a race if youre lucky, or a lap realisticly)

I've just noticed that there's no mention of the brass weights i'm presuming that the bottom section is the hopup's.

Default durango

i must say i agree with all the other guys on the looks and layout, only time will tell if it is going to set the buggy world alight, i am really looking forward to follow its progress at grass roots level just to see how we mere mortals will cope with it.
going back to old cars though a really nice looking xx4 with a nice paint job will still give some of the lads a bit of a stiffy. good luck to the durango boys.

Dear customer,

Thank you for your DEX410 pre-order.

We had hoped to receive the kits into the UK at the end of this month but, due to circumstances beyond our control, we have been informed today that there is likely to be a delay of approximately four weeks, meaning the kits will not arrive in the UK until the end of July.

While the delay is disappointing for us, and for you, our policy of bringing the most reliable and best engineered RC racing cars to the market means that we cannot, and will not, release a kit which does not meet our very high standards.

We hope very much that you will understand this and accept our apology for this situation.

In the meantime, we have now completed the spares and options price lists, which we will be happy to send to you should you wish to receive one. If you would like a Team Durango DEX410 price list, please confirm your delivery address (as we do not have addresses for all of our pre-order customers), clearly stating your country of residence.

Once again we would like to thank you for your continued support of Team Durango. Rest assured we will deliver your new DEX410 to you as soon as possible.

Kind regards,

It says £445 on that list, still thats £5 cheaper then I thought it was going to be

As for prices of things like shock towers, hopefully, if what they've said so far about the quality, you need to have loads of spares in the race box, unlike the hateful B44 I had last year, just about £230 for the kit, then another £300 needed in spares

looks like a lot of things on the list are still quite cheap, rear/front wish bones 6 quid etc..

hopefully the more expensive bits will be strong, they look strong anyway

bring it on

Agreed Dan, i think we should all just wait and see this thing of beauty on the track and in the flesh. Only then can we say this is strong, this is weak and so on.
Can't wait to get mine anyhow

wow guys .
How often do you break a rear shocktower ???

As for the spaires list ; it's Obvious that for a new company , launching a new kit ; it wasn't going to be cheap .
