I doubt I can get enough packs ready by then with the other stuff In the bit of time I have.

You win - the overspray film that I mistakenly left on the wing I fully painted and shaded. its like a really soft nicely painted wing.

lol, I honestly like it now. I wasn't sure about it before, I think the shell looks a bit odd before paint, it has some large flat areas which I think need something to break them up.
Some shells maybe you can probably get away with a single colour and a couple of naff stickers and it will still look good. I think the X-6 needs a bit more thought than that.

I did a bit of shading to reduce the impact of the rear end, and break up the flat areas. The orange line down the side breaks up the line of the shell a bit and stops it looking so boxy

I know where you are coming from Jim, anything to distract your eye from it's fat arse. Looking good though Jim, and we have ALL done the 'spraying the film' thing on the wing.... I even sent a wing out like it.... DOH!!

Rah that's more like it!! That's the best X-6 shell i've seen yet, love the way you've done 3 seperate windows instead of the one big old Procat / TRX1 style window

Looks awesome, will see it on Sunday!

Doh sorry mate, assume you paint them too... no offence intended, i just hadn't seen one done like that and think it looks rude (as far as the X-6 shells go anyway )

I love you nick!
lol

seriously tho, I think a nice bit of paint helps the x6 more than some others. I wasnt happy with the included wrap-around window masks or the shell moulded-in window lines.. both looked a bit poor to me.

Stu, yea I'm running it but I dont want to cause you trouble like. I might phone john in a bit and see if he's racing this weekend, if not I might try borrow his X-5 cells to run
We are leaving early saturday, so basically I have this evening to finish mi review off, get the car setup and working, along with vickys car. and possibly a backup car incase either of use wrecks one.
