This model does away with the top plate and bolts the wishbones directly to the chassis. Also apparently the wishbones are mounted in slightly different positions left to right as this car is for oval racing.

Karl do you no where i can buy any carbon sticker for the chassic .... Are you planning on doing next yrs Mardave National, Have you heard if any others are planning to do any, reason I ask is I am thinking of getting a dave, toying with the idea of a carbon chassic, alley pod, diff etc...13.3 and a good speedo lrp,hobbywing,tekin

i bought a sheet of carbon fibre foil when i did it for my girlfriends car.
i just put it on the chassis then got a new blade just to trim the edges, like cutting the crust off a pie lol

Just google carbon fibre effect plastic paul. Failing that Wim Goss at Action Model Centre does it. I will be doing next years nationals, probably. It depends if they decide to bring any silly rules in or not. Others should be doing it too.
