hi guys after deciding its going to be a hole lot cheaper to replace my spur gear rather then buying a new set of pinions i need to know which spur gears to get,its currently got a 64 pitch spur but want a 48dp for it as i have loads of 48dp pinions.

i have a hot bodies cyclone12 with a crc rear axle n diff so need a spur to fit that any recommendations much appreciated

Will depend on what rollout you are looking for. have a look on www.gearchart.com and work out which size for the range of pinions and tyre size that you have.

Standard 64dp spurs are around 96T, the equivalent diameter 48dp spur is 72T. You can use bigger spurs, the standard Associated spur used to be 48dp 75T, but there is a limit to how big you can go due to the tyre diameter.

You can get them from Demon.

on cells i used to run a 72t Kimbrough spur which is really the biggest you can go without the gear digging into the track & i never found anything smaller that would work, sadly on LiPo / blinky the MPR is a lot higher so had to switch to 64DP
