Our very own Donisthorpe used to run a 24hour race annually many years ago, which was outside on the grass. We did it one year as a team from our local Watford Club, and it was fantastic, we used an old Traxxas TRX-1 with Demon 1400 SCR's, Demon 17 turn motors and a good old trusty Speedmaster ESC.. Came 6th out of 9 teams too, including the famous Schumacher works team (with their Procat)!!!!

Think Teesside have pretty much sorted a team

Plus we worked out on needing about 20 sets of tires And if all the wheels are bought new that comes to something not much short of £600

I'm glad you guys are loving the idea of this - trust me it has taken a lot of planning to get to this point

If you really do want to do this event then please email your intention to Derek (his email address is on the entry form), we can not run the event with less than 7 teams, but we are also limiting it to 12 maximum.

I've been wanting to do this for a few years now, and this year people finally gave in and said yes

As Jimmy says, we'd like to make this an annual event if possible.

Also, if your coming to race you might just end up on TV

G

And I won't organise one ever again. It was really, really hard work. Possibly much more than people realise.
However good luck to all those who enter and those running the event.

We have enough people to make a very good team now, its just down to sponsor stuff.

I will also get a yes or no from Mrs Sleigh to see if Phil is allowed to come
