Default 2mm carbon sheet, too fin for shock towers ?

hi want to make up some shock towers for a 10th scale bug. u rekon 2mm is too thin ? im thinking 4mm ideal but bit pricey

2mm won't last long mate, 4mm as you say is about thesensible minimum
