Default Mid South Regional Series

The Mid South Regional Series dates and details have now been announced:

http://www.oople.com/forums/showthread.php?t=143633

We have two rounds of the series at TORCH, 4WD on the 20th April and 2WD on 13th July.

If you have not competed in the regional series before I would highly recommend it - all 4 clubs are very well run and include 2 of the National venues this year. If you race at the club then you are good enough to race at a regional. We generally take a good group of TORCH drivers to all rounds and pit together so you will not be on your own.

Booking in opens later this week and with the continuing rise in popularity in off-road in the region I would suggest you book in early if you want to compete, particularly in the 2WD events which tend to be the most popular.

Just in case any of you missed it in the Mid South section, booking in is now open at www.dmsresults.co.uk

Opened yesterday afternoon and some events already 30% full. Payment is on the day so no need to find all the entry fees at once. Remember to keep the confirmation e-mails though as you will need these if you need to cancel your entry at a later date.

Don't forget less than 3 weeks until the first regional at TORCH on the 20th April.

This is a 4WD round but we will also be running the 2WD open class so everyone welcome to race.

See second post for link to booking details.

Hi Cammers

Bookings via the DMS site in the second post in this thread.

When you get onto site, click Race Entry on the left hand side of the main page. Fill in your details at the top then chose which meetings you want to attend below. At each meeting you can chose either 2WD or 4WD class so at 4WD Regionals the Open class is 2WD and vice visa.

Hope that makes sense!!

Rob

A few extra details about the 4WD regional this Sunday (20th April) over on the Mid South section:

http://www.oople.com/forums/showthre...820#post851820

We have a new track layout and some new features so if you have not entered yet, then get your entry in quick

Good job all round, the weather affected play but to be fair it was more than what I was expecting as the weather forecast predicted the bad stuff earlier.

Good work fella's!

Seen the photos from yesterday. I don't think any track could have handled that amount of rain. It's a shame as the effort the TORCH chaps put in each year on improvements is easy to see. Bet the bloody sun is out today!!
