Support your UK hobby store that's what I say!

Hey we can all buy things where we want but it's great to have healthy UK shop scene or else we all suffer - no spares etc.

I was just excited to get one, no need to jump down my throat (I did edit some info out of my post, thanks for pointing that out). Not expecting any issues with this kit...its not Associated lol.

On another note, has anyone developed any setups yet for bumpy astro?

Hi,I'm working hard on getting a wet setup for this car and when everyone runs them setups all come thick and fast.

Nice to have you on board Fivepointnine!

I got my first PR kits from the USA too, but am delighted that Kev at Inside Line is now importing and marketing these fantastic cars! The quality is astonishing!

I've run mine for over a year now, but never on bumpy astro. Also, mine are the PRS1 V2 and a PRSB401. So, as of yet we have no setup info for the PRS1V3 cars. You won't have long to wait though as they will be hitting the tracks in inreasing numbers over the next few weeks.

Keep your eye on this forum and the PR Racing Facebook page for setup and build hints and tips!

Jimmy

I'm going to start pretty much with the kit setup with the change being 25wt oil in the rear and 30wt in the front,i have made up a couple of weights that will sit behind the motor

I'm going to give it a run tomorrow just to get a feel for the car then go from there from what i find

kit 2 hole pistons, those are the oils i start with on my mid motor cars in low grip, they might be light but until the cars are out on track it's trial and error at the minute

For some reason I thought you were talking high grip. Sounds about like what I ran in my BMAX2 on indoor clay.

Indeed welcome on board fivepointnine!

Stotfold is bumpy astro and my home track too so I'll be on the case very soon for both the PRS1V3 and the PRSB401. I will no doubt post in the Facebook PR group soon enough!

There will be couple of these out and about tomorrow:-
  • Southport Indoor - I'll be running mine there
  • Worksop - Olly Vaux will have his almost complete V3 with him tomorrow on the bench for anyone to take a look.

Feel free to pop over

Kev

To be fair better than i expected,i added 30g behind the motor which helped, with a bit more setup time i feel the car will be ok in low grip conditions,i'm going to change from the kit springs to associated and work off those for now,but from the running i did i was pleased with how the car felt.
