GNR round one was cancelled, they never completed two complete rounds, so qualifying can't count towards the results, meeting anulled.

So are they running it on 9th as its nitro and club rules mean cars cant be started til 11am. This gives plenty of time to run 2 rounds of electric.

I don't know, you would have to ask H if they can. They would have to sort out the rostrum, so it meets H&S standards though, and those who paid for the original meeting, will have to have a free entry.

STEVE: No offence but it is not your decission mate. After reading the BRCA rulebook what you have said is incorrect anyway. I need to double check but I think that rule only applys to Nationals.

It is down to the BRCA rep and WRCA committee to make the decission on points etc. and it will then be up to WRCA and GNR if they wish to re-schedule the meeting.

Matt: I'll bung you and H an email so we can discuss.

I thought regionals are run to national rules, yes?

As for the meeting being re-run, I did say it was up to the WRCA, just pointed out that I don't think it would be fair to charge again, for those who attended the first meeting.

Don't want to get involved BUT I remember PK telling me that they are charged per person per day for using the location. Now if that is the case the GNR club will have to find the money for the people who enter the previous meeting as I'm sure they wouldn't have had a refund from the "landlord" this can't happen in my opinion. If and it is a massive if it's re-run then it's just fair to cover what ever the cost is occured by GNR, not saying they make a profit but for sure they can't be out of pocket !!

TELL ME TO MIND MY OWN BUSINESS BUT WE WANT THIS SPORT TO GROW NOT FALL APART IN WALES.

We have had confirmation from the BRCA chairman that the meeting cannot carry any points from only one round of qualifying.

It is now down to the guys at GNR to decide if they wish to re-run the meeting. Should they re-run the meeting the series will still drop a score, so instead of being 3 from 5 it will be 2 from 5 to count.

Not all National rules are the same as regional rules.
