I ran a savox 1258tg in my Cougar SV but have recently tried the Anderson blue case servo from Schumacher, both are really good. The Savox would be the more popular choice amongst racers though.

Align DS610 & 620. Exactly the same servo as the Savox 1258 & 1257's, but with a blue anodized case for the 610 and black for the 620.

And for about 40-45 quid brand new.

Just checking prices, i found a DS620, for 41.69 quid inc VAT & P&P from a UK seller.

Used them for years, never a moments problem with them.

I bought a 1258 Savox used it for a few weeks and it started to cut the power to the receiver. Sent it back to CML they kindly replaced it, put the new one in and guess what ran it for 20 minutes and it is giltching. I'll have to send it back again but won't be buying any more Savox.

On that note what do people reccomend? I borrowed an ace servo tonight that seemed very good. I can't remember the model though.

I just recently bought one of the Anderson servos from Schumacher, it's the one with the blue case. I've found it to be very good in my Cougar SV.

The ACE DS1015 is a great Servo, might be slight overkill for a tenth though, you'd normally find them in 8th cars. You'll definitely hold your line though !
