Shropshire Winter Series 2013/14 RD 2 17th November

Just a reminder that booking in is now open for round 2 of the Shropshire Winter Series to be held at East Shrewsbury BRC on the 17th November.

Classes include 1/10 2wd, 1/10 4wd, SC and Micros!

Booking in is available on the day but pre booking would help us cater for the correct amount of drivers and also better value for the drivers so please book in as early as you can.

Entries filling up nicely for 2wd and 4wd 1/10 for Sunday 17th November at East Shrewsbury BRC Shropshire winter series round 2. No sign of any Micro or ST yet though. Will anyone be entering these classes? If so can you please book in as soon as possible to enable us to cater for the correct amount of drivers/pitting space etc. Many Thanks MB.

Great days racing at East Shrewsbury, A BIG thank you to Bryn and his team of helpers

Great to see 2wd 4wd and micros all in attendance.

Track was certainly busy again with a mixture of surfaces jumps and off road features to make sure you had to be clean and consistent for a good run.

I met some first time racers and they certainly looked like they enjoyed there day

Someone mentioned the potential of running a club night on a Friday I for one certainly hope this happens .......

Cant wait for the next round with a visit to the Oswestry club I hope it lives up to the first 2 rounds ...

Thanks for the compliments on the first two rounds, it has been a really enjoyable series so far. A massive thank you to everyone who has taken part and helped with setting up and taking down the track.

Booking in is now open for round 3 to be held at Oswestry on 15th December, we hope to see you there!

Following the success of the first 2 rounds of the Shropshire Winter Series East Shrewsbury are holding a club night on Friday the 29th November, this will be a fun 'run what you brung' night and if successful we will hold a regular Friday night meeting once a week or once a fortnight. Entry will be £5 and just turn up and pay on the night. We hope to see you there!

Yes it will be the same hall at the grange. I am trying to get a section on here for the club and start a thread on it there. Will also put something up on Facebook to keep everyone in the loop.
