Tyre question
Hello from Finland
On Finland we usually race on clay tracks on summer time. Next summer we are going to have one national race on new astroturf track. We usually have handout tyres on our national series, so I'm thinking about tyre rule. On both classes probably Schumacher mini spike on yellow compound on rear. What people usually use as 4wd front tyres? Are Wide staggers good choice? What about Mini spike? Track isn't ready yet, so we haven't got change to test any tyres. Cheers

4wd i use schumacher mini spikes yellow front & rear in dry and ballistic greens or pinks in wet (i think green for damp & pink for really wet) but some use silver or yellow staggers on front in dry but most have tyre rules so staggers tend to mainly be used in 2wd.

Most racers I know on dry astro in 4wd use either the wide staggers or the low profile cut staggers, depending on preference. Look through http://site.petitrc.com/reglages/SetupSheetDataBase.htm to see what setups drivers are using on astro.
