Mine's got a Durga steering rack on it now.

The steering ackerman is the important thing. I played with the steering alot and found that moving the steering back a few mm worked well.

I'll ask a guy at my local club. I don't use those shocks. Suprised mardave don't have any as a new cobra is out soon.

Is the car for competition or bashing. If its competition, I would consider changing shocks anyway. The mardave ones are pretty good when built properly but usually you can buy other branded shocks which are Much better quite cheaply off ebay.

Nice set of Option House Golds on E-Bay at the mo carty:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/KYOSHO-OPT...item2c6428e128 they'd look good on your Cobe and work miles better than the crappy stock ones. |

I was told that Steve pole who used one back in about 1994 preferred the standard shocks over the associated ones.

You boys use 'em as rug racers though don't you?,mine is set up for and is rapidly becoming a pretty competent dirt/clay car. AE or Kyosho are better for off-road. They seem to handle uneven surfaces well and have a good range of springs and pistons to tune the suspension with. |

Steve pole ran the car in the rrc series with standard shocks. That said they were probably the only thing that was standard. I haven't seen his car but I understand it was heavily modified. I tried mine outdoor and it was pretty good but the extra Strain on the driveshafts was too much for them.

When is the Evo out?
Hi Lads,
Does anyone know when the new cobra is out? I haven't raced since 1992,My kids have madrats but I was always an oddball and even though I had a cougar 2000 always wanted to race a cobra? But have been waiting a while to get back racing and I really wanted to start back with a cobra any news? Brian |

Why not ring Mardave and ask Chris,he is a nice bloke,I dont think he`ll bite!!-I had one of those once, the diff was the weak link on mine, ask him if it`s been upgraded or whether someone elses will fit,I think I read somewhere the AE B4 diff fits/or can be made to fit....
