Default Mardave Cobra Ball Joints

I’ve been rebuilding my pair of Cobras to race while on lock down, and I rebuilt the cars with RPM sockets. The problem is they are too tight on there. The question is are the mardave balls bigger diameter than others, if so what sockets should be used?.

Cheers

Rich

Yes,Mardave ones are bigger.
When I put RPM turnbuckles and sockets on my Cobra I also used RPM balls
because the RPM sockets are too small for Mardave ones.
My Cobra has mostly RC10B3 running gear though.
