Default invites

When will the last lot of invitations be going out, so those that haven't been invited can plan to do something else.

I have no idea. There are still 3 months till the meeting, so it could be anywhere within the next 10 weeks depending on if entries are still coming in as the meeting gets closer

UPDATE:

1: MuchMore UK have signed on as event sponsors!

2: The legendary Kris Kennedy has agreed to MC the event! (remember him from UK Micro Challenge 3 guys?)

3: There are still spaces so please dont be afraid to email over your entry forms! I have tried to contact afew more superstars but I think that they are all afraid of the talent that has already entered

A large batch of invites will be emailed out this week now that Uni has finished.

Thanks to all those who have accussed me of just inviting the superstars first and forgetting the 'mortals'. True colours and all that

And for those of you worried by the lack of "Jimmy oOple" on the entry list, I can confirm that the red-haired snapper will be in attendance

Hi all,

Just updated the entry list for the event. You can see the entry list by clicking the link below!

http://www.uk-microrc.co.uk/ukmicrox2010/entry-list

If you have received an invite but do not see your name on the list then this means you have not confirmed your place at the UKMicroX event.
Please read through the invite email for details of how to confirm your place!

Just a recap for those who havent been reading all the latest event news; we now have Much More UK signed on as a sponsor, im working on a few more companies as well.

Finally the legendary Kris Kennedy has agreed to MC the event finals for us! For those of you who attended the UK Micro Challenge 3 event will no doubt remember his legendary commentary

PS: Jimmy oOple, email me your details

Will there be a timetable for the day, and if so, when will that be published?

An offical timetable will be posted after the entry closing date, so sometime next week. Anything other than that is purely speculation

Provisionally...;

Doors open: 7:30am
Booking in open: 7:40am
Booking in close: 8:10am
Race brief + Concours: 8:20am
Practice starts: 8:50am
Last final finishes: 4:18pm

The event is very much full, so time will be on the essence
I have factored in afew gaps for sorting finals, doing the raffle and concours etc but like I said I will email and post an official timetable next week.

Just as a reminder;

1/ Please remember if you have entered the 1/18th 4WD class that you must run wheels with a wheel diameter of <=39mm. That is 39mm on either the inside or outside face....

2/ Please remember that you need to bring your own table! We can supply chairs but no tables. Please also try and share tables where possible. There aint much space with 80 large sweaty people in that hall!

3/ Kris Kennedy will be the MC for the finals, hes a legend and I hope will all enjoy his commentary as much as we did at UK Micro Challenge 3!

4/ Please remember to bring a cup if you want to take advantage of the free coffee and tea. Coffee is supplied with thanks to Mat North and Clifton Coffee

5/ Please bring some money for food, im not sure I can work free food into the mix

Finally there are still oppertunities for event sponsorship if any manufacturers, companies or distributors are reading this. Please email me for more details!
