I was quite happy to pass Neil over them in 4WD, but then I bodded out on the big double and landed on the pipe, damn!

They were at their best during first practice on the saturday, when there was the fresh grass on the track. They weren't quite as good when the track cut up. I only tried them cos i'm not a fan of yellows when the track isn't bone dry

Robbo tried Ballistic Blues in the last few rounds on the Saturday, and they looked mint i have to say

Surprised you were able to bod out with the straight line speed of your car in the finals

Yeah someone else tried bb blues and said they were good. I only had one pair of rears, and so didn't run them as i couldn't make my mind up what to try on the front with them. Seems there is a bit of a discussion if they are still available? I only got my one pair last week (all i could get!!), and no real idea if they are still out there or not.

I was slightly over-powered for the finals, but it was so much fun, I think the wheels were spinning up until about half-way down the straight.

4.5 with a 12.5 rotor was immense, would be intereresting to see how that would work if the track had some grip...

12.3 rotor might be pretty special inside a 4.5.... hmmmm

18/84 in round4 - felt like it had too much top end - didn't know what to do with it at the end of the straight

17/84 for the finals - maybe a bit too much bottom end, and still a silly amount of top.

i had the same as you chris with a 4.5 nosram and a 12.5 rotor in my xx4. belt loss's made it mint to drive n bloomin scary down the straight as it just kept on revving all the way once it had stopped spinning up

I don't know what Neils setup was, my BX was handling really well all day and based on my driving ability it must have been completely dialed!

If qualifying was based solely on 'out laps' I think I would have made the 'A'

I saw that, your BX looked good. Perhaps you should've driven back to the start line and started fresh each lap.
