Default WATER TRAP

Hi all. I've just bought a new compressor (24ltr), but it doesn't have a water trap like the smaller hobby ones. Just wondering if I still need to fit a water trap and can anybody recommend the type of trap to buy? Fittings on the compressor are 1/4" quick release, but I have numerous adapters.

Many thanks,
Jay.

I've always run a small filter / trap on my compressors to keep moisture out of the tools mainly, as mine gets used mostly for air tools not painting.

They are really cheap at Machine Mart - about £6, but then you need a couple of adaptors for a few quid each to suit your compressor / hose. Don't forget a bit of PTFE tape on the threads. I have mine inline at the compressor end, some painters have them at the gun end.
