Default Bmax 2 pinion?????

Am running a 8.5T motor in my yoko and it's smooth and runs well just not got much punch?
Am not really clued up on the right gearing but it at the moment on a 24 pinion 48 spur.Well it's a standard spur.
All the modes on the esc are on default mode, am running a turnigy motor/esc combo.

Should I try a 22 or lower help needed

Mark

24-26 is about right for that.
A 22 will give you faster acceleration pickup, but lower top end.

"Punch" will be set on your speedo.

You haven't got an exponential curve set on your transmitter throttle channel have you?

24 is spot on(don't go higher), especially if you are willing to play a little with your boost/turbo settings
