As I understand it, Bury Metro drivers have the choice of Noth East or North West series. Geography puts us in a difficult situation, in that we are technically North West, but it makes more sense for us to join with North East.

We are to host rounds of both series, but drivers can choose - for what it's worth, I'm doing North East.

To be fair... Bury Metro is about as northeast as... erm... well it's just not!

Or maybe its just that I'm about as northeast as you can go... *rolls eyes but can't find the smiley place*

Neither is batley !

good day today at bury.. I think i prefer 2wd there though, 4wd on that track can mean an expensive day! plus, im faster with 2wd there I think.

An option for Bury drivers is to race NW 2wd & NE 4wd, possible competing in NE 2wd meetings in a non-championship heat & final. This gives them the option (if they wish to race this much) of being present at every regional meeting.
I personally did this in 2004, along with Nationals it was a very busy year.

It'll be intersting to see who from the central-noth area races where. The general popularity of the NE region is a big draw to those of us in the regional borderlands, however, the possibilty of an F2 'in the bag' as a NW driver may be a draw the opposite way.

yea ive been twice recently when its been naff weather, tbh unless there is standing water its still good, track drains quite well. having said that, I might not be able to muster up the courage if it is reet bad looking.

Il see what weather is doing dont mind a bit of rain, could do with giving lazer a run outside cos its only been indoors so far and i think it might be scared of the grass, plus the first national is just around the corner could do with a bit of outdoor practice before then..

Looks like this Sunday, 19th March, is an extra date to the winter calendar at Bury Metro. Weather permitting we will be racing, with first race at around 1.30. I'll be getting there at around 11.45, hoping those pesky footballers have not dumped their cars in the way AGAIN!
