Default Losi Mini 8ight Sloppy Steering

Hi,
I have recently got my hands on a Losi mini 8ight, however after my first club night I have noticed that I am not getting the same amount of travel from the steering when turning left or right. On further investigation I seem to have quite a lot of play in the steering system. I have traced this to the second steering post (not the one attached to the servo). Anybody got any fixes, hop up parts to cure this, etc. I have changed the stock servo for a Hitec 5245MG.
Many thanks
Mark

with regards the steering do you have more thread on 1 side than the other on the turn buckles. if so then you need to centralise the servo( remove servo horn and turn on the hand set and turn the st to "0") then realign servo horn set the tracking straight to the servo. Basically so you have the same amount of thread on each side
