Cool Last nights do

So racing on carpet... I'd defiantly do it again! I think we should make a point of doing it regular. Enjoyed it, even though I blew a speedo up and only did one Qulifying session. Thanks to Mr Baker for letting me borrow his car, and thanks as always to Nori and folk!

I've usually got the carpet with me so we can use it whenever we want.

It made a change racing on the carpet, took me all night to get used to driving on it though and get my car set up to run on it. If we plan on using the carpet more often I might have to buy some better tires and work on my high grip set up

The grey stuff wasn't bad, but the brown stuff needs binning at the earliest opportunity. I must say I prefer the "slippy" floor, and you don't get a nose full of black carpet gunk afterwards, and have to sweep up at the end.

Me and Meg had a great time, Not sure if that was the carpet or just a good nights racing,

Meg was chuffed that she out qualified Peter, I don't think he's going to hear the last of that for a while,

Have to agree with Neal on the brown carpet, its fine for ramps and table tops, but marshalling on it is just a death trap,

A bit of carpet once in a while maybe - but not the whole hall. At least with a slippy floor, I can blame the floor . . . ;-)

I did like the rippled effect the thicker stuff gave though - gave the suspension something to do.
