Default 10electric, Cullingworth booking in Fri 14th Aug 15

Hi all.

Please use this thread to book in for racing on Friday.

Unfortunately we need to put a cap of 30 drivers in place to make sure we have enough time for 4 rounds and a final.

We should be able to have the heats sorted and we will want to start racing at bang on 7. So track building is the priority.

We need more volunteers to collectively help build / dismantle the track, this also applies at the end of the evening putting away the track. So please help, we get more racing in and get to go home at a reasonable time. Don't leave it to the same individuals to do the honours.

Please refrain from practicing until the track has been built.

The deadline for booking in is 9pm Thursday evening, heat listings will be compiled after this time. If you say you are coming then change your mind for what ever reason, you must let me know as this affects everyone else & the heats will not be evenly balanced,

Doors normally open at 6.30pm.

Someone will be there for 6:15 ish, so anyone wanting to HELP with the track can get there for then.

1/10th Buggies, indoors, carpet, slippy floor and jumps. Family friendly and good fun club level racing.

Address:
Cullingworth Village Hall

'oo's this "coleman" bloke?

I'll be debuting my latest ebay "bargain" - so I'll either be even crapper than usual, binning Neil off again, or right up James's chuff (if I'm as good as my memory seems to say I was . . .)

All - sorry for having to dash earlier. Hope rest of meeting went well. Shame I had to go as I sense I'd have won a-final tonight...
My son is fine - diagnosed as a virus so hopefully the medication he's been prescribed will sort it.
Thanks to all who helped carry my stuff to car in my rush

Ah, that explains you dashing out as I dashed in. Sounds like all is under control - good news.

As for my "heap", I reckon it's all Jon and Jack's fault. If they hadn't kept on lapping me (I mean, come on, lapping me before I even crossed the line on my first lap . . ), I'd have gone a lot faster . .

Yesterdays excuse was I think something was wrong with the binding of radio gear and operation of the speedo - a re-bind and re-set up of the speedo seems to have cured the on-off nature of the speed control (honest, I was trying to modulate it, but it wasn't listening) and the weird delay/instant operation/jammed over nature of the steering. Throttle stick on the transmitter has a lever for altering the neutral postion, and it kept shifting, so I've superglued that into place too. However, I will think of another excuse before next time

I didn't spot who it was in my final, but whoever was piloting the rocket ship in straight lines between loud bangs might just want to turn it down a touch - can't be much fun flying between massive crashes, when going a lot slower in a straight line, but faster overall because the car is the right way up and on the track and you can make the corners. Crack it back up for blasting up the street at home

And I know, I know . . . do what I say, not what , , ,

Bri
