Default Winter Wonder rd7...This Sunday (30th Dec)...NOW AT YATTON!

So, Santa has been, and hopefully you've all got what you wanted...RC or otherwise

Just a quick message you let you know that we started prepping the track today for Sunday, and it's looking pretty tidy right now. For those not aware, since the last time we ran the big trees over the back of the track have all been chopped down, so it's now lighter and brighter down there, and NO MORE LEAVES!!!!

The resulting wood chippings that covered the track for a time have also now been cleared (well mostly...a few little patches on the edges down by the big banked corner end!) and the track is completely usable again.

Weather reports for Sunday are still looking pretty mixed, so official decision about running outdoors at WORM or indoors at Yatton will be made tomorrow lunchtime (ish), either way, racing awaits on Sunday...fingers crossed it's outdoors

Either way, booking in and open practice from 9am, racing starting around 10am...look forward to seeing you all there

Haha...patience patience...

Forecast for Sunday still looks mostly dry.

The Track drains well and the low spots are easily emptied as yesterday's track work proved so I'm still still hopeful!

We're at the track this afternoon to make the final call on it, it's stopped raining here now, as per the local forecst, and I'm only 2 miles from the track

No doubting the track will be damp tomorrow, but it's not been dry yet when we've raced, so unless the concensus between you guys is to run indoors anyway, then we'll make the call as soon as we can this afternoon.

Worst case, we turn up in the morning and it's still too wet and we drive the 15 mins up the road to Yatton for a slightly delayed start, but that really is a last resort.

In a way,I would rather run Indoors, what if it starts hacking it down just after we start,we are travelling a long way for a meeting that might be too late to change to indoors

Just my opinion that's all

So it seems the weather gods have sided with Rych...

Meeting is now going to be indoors at Yatton!

Even if we cleared the track off, which wouldn't take too long, it is raining on and off now, and there is more rain forecast, and the track is once again saturated wet

Real shame as it was fine at the track yesterday!

See you all at Yatton at 9am instead

Yatton RC Club...Bridge Works, 2 North End Road, Yatton, BS49 4AL

It's opposite the train station as you come down the main street through Yatton...set back of the road a bit in a old'ish warehouse building. Nice and easy to find
