Correct but you only have to do 3 rounds to count as its best 3 out of 4 to count. But I think your right and about 65 people did 3 rounds or more in 4wd. Remember the list of F gradings above includes people gradings from both 2wd or 4wd which ever you did best in.

It is 20% of the total amount of people that did 3 or more rounds which was only 55. Minus the F1s is 53 which gives 10.6. Rounded up to the nearest whole number which is 11 people get F2. Then you get 30% F3s which is the next 16 people. Then the next 30% which is another 16 people get F4 and the final 20% get F5 along with anyone else who their club see fit to give F5. I get to work all of this out.... it's exciting. I hope this gives you a glimpse into my world!

Question Explain please???

Can someone please explain to me how the gradings are worked out as after looking at the overall points I have noticed that Wes Jolly only has 183 points and has made F4 yet I have 281 and only got an F5?????

There are 2 people in F1, 20 in F2, 20 in F3 and 24 in F4, leaving 14 in F5....there doesn't seem to be much logic to the system!?!

I've not looked at all the points but if you're meaning 4wd, then wes may have got his F4 from 2wd ratings?...or vice versa.

If you get your higher rating in 2wd than in 4wd then it is that rating that will count.

If i'm wrong then i'm sure someone will correct me.

For example-
if you look at Simon heath, his new rating is F2, yet he only did one round in 4wd, I did them all and only retained my F3....but the points Si reached in 2wd were enough for him to get his F2. I didn't do 2wd (wish I had now lol) so my only score that would count were my National result or my regional 4wd result, as it happened my regional result was high enough to over power my national results, giving me my F3.

Hope that makes sense?

Shouldn't the F2 licences gained through National (if there are any) be deducted before you then work out the allocation of grades for the regional series?

Yes the F2 should be taken out when working out the gradings - however, no-one gained F2 at nationals in the Mid-East region.
