Thumbs up

I realise that this is not a set-up as such, but this website has some incredibly usefull information for all makes of car (not just AE) and explains things quite clearly if you use the "buggy set-up guide" on the left of the page

Well last night was my local indoor club racing night where I run my B4. Its a small twisty carpet track that has one straight usually of 40-50ft. Its usally good racing and my buggy goes ok. But last night it just didnt want to turn in at all under power, early mid corner. To the point where I was have to try and hook the break and skid it round the tight corners.

Does anyone have any setups/tips/ideas infact anything for a small, tight indoor track on carpet. Jump wise there are only two small ramps which are no problem.

Thanks

How much antisquat and what wheelbase are you running? In those situations I'd either increase the antisquat or make the wheelbase longer.

few suggestions-

increase wheelbase
25 degree caster blocks
harder rear spring - this makes a huge difference, take it easy as the rear end will want to pivot more.
higher antisquat

The stagger ribs wont be helping unless you're on really, really high grip carpet.

I did use some new mini pins front and rear last week and found the car to be really aggressive in the handling. Oh, is such a pain when you aint got a bldy clue lol.
