Default Dunfermline This Weekend

Hi all, despite the desperately sad news regarding Jimmy Storey, I would like to confirm that this weekends Oople Open Off Road Series event at Dunfermline will still go ahead as planned.

I hope all the Scottish drivers will support the event and carry on the Oople way of going racing.

See you on Saturday.

Awesome track great venue and great team who put the track together, top marks to you all, shame a little too far to be considered for a club meeting sometime....

Default Great event

Great venue for Oople Series and its a shame more people didn't go because the track was superb, facilities good and the people very welcoming. Despite a bit of wind on Saturday, good weather and a very well run meeting. Congratulations to the Oople organisers, John on Race Control and all the Dunfermline crew.

Just got home from a fantastic "long" weekend.
Covered 958 miles, took over 1500 pictures, stayed in three hotels,
Visited Edinburgh Zoo, the angel of the north, visited family and Beamish museum on the way back home.
Still buzzing !
Dunfermline track was just fantastic to race on.
Such a venue and so worth the trip!
Everyone was so welcoming.
Thank you to all the oOple crew, Derek Kerr and Dunfirmline model car club, the lady's in the snack van, and Paul Harrod (for letting us pit in his tent once our gazebo took a hit from the gusts of wind)
Olly has been telling everyone one about his first RC10 race, and I'm really glad I had the chance to run a nice old RC10, a very special red one...
I'm sure we all did Jimmy proud.
Here's hoping the series continues well into the future, and we can return to Scotland next year.
