Anyone else tried? Will race this next weekend. Super rear traction!

Just wired up my good old buggy, cant beileve its nearly 1 year old now. I have moved the ESC to front from back. Not sure if it will make car nose heavy?
What everyone think? or should the ESC stays in back?

New wiring job...

My old wiring job...

This is my new-old Losi 22 bought from Chris56. Here it is after some spit and polish and a few new parts:

It is a super budget build, the ESC is a second hand 60A sensorless Turnigy unit, and the motor is an unbranded £20 Ebay jobbie.

After a couple of club meets with terrible setups the car is now AWESOME! I can't believe how awesome it is, mind you, my previous car was a Traxxas.

How does it go with the plastic chassis? That's from a Hobao, right?

Jaune, your plastic chassis looks pretty interesting. Does it fit without any modifications and where can i get one?

Its the hobao H2 chassis. Its not bolt on thought, Its like 5mm longer than the 22 std chassis so i had to drill other hole( I went 5mm shorter than stock), cut some pieces and created mounts. For the front I just had to do some dremelling. The rear servo screw is at the same location so its easy to figure. Anyways nice little project, There is still some snow over here so I should be able to give some feedback in a couple of weeks but flex looks very similar to a B4. I really think it will help on low bite tracks.

Hi all,

New member here, kind of new to the scene (well I have taken a 10+ year break). I used to race at the awesome Mid Essex Club, including when it was Springfield RCCC, but then left home to go to Uni and moved North.

Now I am planning to have a dabble in racing again (when I can fit it in around work) and have bought myself a 22

After driving B2s and B3s back in the day, I moved to a XXX and XX4, so upon returning it seemed a simple choice to go Losi again!

Hope to have it all finished this weekend and share some pics with you.

(Don't expect an amazing paint job, or neat wiring... They never were my strong points)
