Default converting dex410 to desc410

hi

i want to convert my dex410 to the desc410, first of all is it possible? if it is, what parts do i need? do i have to use a sc motor or can i use the standard motor i have?

Shock shafts (probably). Springs. Wishbones. Chassis. Centre diff. Prop shafts (I think). Half shafts. Turnbuckles. Towers. Body shell. Side pods. Front and rear hubs.

You won't get much change from 200 quid

That's just what I can see from looking at the pictures on the TD site. I'd buy a second hand one. Or sell your 410 and buy a new desc.
You should be okay using the same motor though

but could i just put the body posts/shock towers on my 410 and change the shell?

If you want.
But the dex is shorter, narrower and lower than the desc. And the wheels won't fit (different hex size/offset)

So it'll just be a dex with a huge body shell.

No, the DESC410 has a longer chassis and arms. Here's a comparison in size

didnt realize there was that much difference in size! if i was to sell the dex410 how much would i get for a 2011 410r artr with 1 1/2 cars worth of spares, with most alloy upgrades, carbon shock towers?

I just converted my desc410 to a dex410 with long arms and a dest210 body.
Looks great, but the wheelbase is to short for the Xerun 3656 motor I think. Not easy to drive fast.
But look up rc-waffle at the bay. He`s parting out desc`s all the time.
Will cost you around $100 in parts from him I guess.
