Default New CF XB2 chassis coming???

Heard about it and then saw this.
I think it defo need to be lightened so this looks good, but what... it will probably be here next winter right?

Nice if thats an alu kick up or swappable plastic bit like the yok but time will tell

Really hope the rear end and kick up is strong, don't want the problems like with the dimec chassis and other CF chassis for the DEX210

I have a carbon xb2 chassis, but not tried it yet...

Has anyone considered that it may also be a protective sheet that's partly torn/worn off? I'm not saying it's not a carbon chassis at all, I'm just saying that it could be something less spectacular too...

Looks like it could be a carbon fibre sticker on an ally chassis
We'll see hey

Seems like a shorty chassis like a DB2, carbon fiber with carbon shorty tray from what I've seen

DHawk make a carbon fiber chassis for the 4WD - I asked them to make one for the 2WD with the front kick up. This one above may or may not be cf but I think one will be available eventually.

My guess, this will be the car with the DB2/TM2 layout and by the looks of it, a flat aluminium chassis without the plastic tub. You will also notice there are no body off shots of the XB4 2wd in existence.

Do you use the full length top deck for rigidity?

Interesting....does anyone actually think xray need a new high grip car at the minute though? Surely a low grip option should be top of the agenda?

How much weight does it shave off?

No idea, wasn't really looking to save weight, more to add flex hence the 45 degree layup.
