Southport result
A massive well done to SMD Team C driver Iain Mellish for winning the B final at today's southport national with his TM2, Iain reports that the car was stunning all day and a top 10 finish fell just out of his grasp by a matter of seconds!
Roll on Broxtowe!

Fantastic result for Iain, his highest position to date at a BRCA National. A very big well done from me mate, brilliant result for you and the TM2. Very consistent drive and so unlucky not to make the A. Your day will come soon mate

Thank you for the nice comments guys, it was a brilliant day and really unexpected. I honestly don't think we would have got anywhere near without the TM2, I always thought that to achieve such good results would mean having to drive like a bat out of hell but the car has so much pace that for the most part I was able to drive well within myself and let the car do the hard work!
Without it meaning to sound like an oscar winners speech I'd just like to thank my dad for the all the hard work and support he has given me through all our years of racing....the result is as much his as it is mine...thanks pops

Very well done iain and very comedable to mention your dad so well done Gordon for all the hard work you put in to the both of you deserve it and I will be at Broxtowe to cheer you on, I ain't gonna miss a local national for anything best regards ian dean
