Lipos, Brushless!
Please tell me thats at least a Cougar 2 gearbox, preferably a Club 10 (gear rather than belt) because otherwise thats just asking for trouble.
The original Topcat/Cougar drivetrains used to melt for fun with the 'hot' motors of the day - which back then was a 17x4! In fact, on a hot day with a grass track they'd struggle on a 27 turn. Most Cougar 1's ended up with MMS diffs and layshafts because they were a little better but even they couldn't handle say a 15 turn.

It is a club10/2 gearbox with a XTR/big-six alloy pro-diff and XTR driveshaft halves.
Gears also used in the rascal gearbox.

Sweet memories of carpet racing buggy's!
Actually this one (standing shocks) i believe is frome after my rc period.

But back in the day it was all buggy racing in/outdoor on/offroad.

That doesn't take away frome the fact this car looks SWEET!!!

That Cougar transmission sounds bulletproof. Can we get some close ups on the diff outdrives and driveshafts? Anything I could use on my Procat?
