The car is designed to use a standard B4 body in both mid and rear motor configurations

Shocktowers makes it look very long. It's the same with my losi midmotor as you maybe have seen at the players during friday.

Hello Dan & thanks for stopping by.In the mid motor incarnation the car is very close to a B4 wheelbase wise.In the rear motor version shown here the car has 11 mm longer wheelbase than a B4,the longest possible. If I move all the inboard hingepin washers in the rear of the wishbone ,it is 5mm longer than a B4 and this is the best I can do with those toe blocks.I have an alternative front toe block that allows the wheelbase to be just 2mm longer than a B4 if I wish. The car does look longer since the sidepods are moved towards the rear in comparison with a B4 and the body consequently does the same.In the rear motor version I feel that the extra length helps keep in check the rear end in dusty surfaces. Some agility is taken away but I like the car more neutral in outdoor dusty tracks (I liked by old XX-CR best in such conditions)
