Tuned - 1:37.6 (getting there, another 0.2 on a perfect lap )

Found another 2 tenths on the first sector of the tuned car, will make top 20 if I can put a lap down

Thought it was.
Went through the ghosts (process of elimination) and used yours as a guide. lol
Can keep with you up to turn 4 then I lose buckets of time here and there. Just as quick through back straight and through the silly hairpins, then loose loads on final sector. But am just as quick onto straight so I just need to get the corner speeds right.
But I'm not using gears, never been able to on these games.

Managed to get 52.6 but thats as much as I can do at the mo.

what you need to do is look around the track for a quicker way,the other games the fast people cottend on to the fact that if you crash you just bounce offthere where 3 corners that most people were slowing down to get around the corner,the cheaters were going full speed and using the armco,when you slowed down you lost a total of 34 seconds to the cheats

Do you mean the hairpins on Prologue? This is a new demo

I'm only around 3 secs off you and I was about 800th last nite!!

God knows what I am tonight.

As for the tuned version.....

Best I can get is about 1.42 ish, and that was on a defaulted lap as I dared to put 2 wheel on the grass and 2 wheels on the kerb at the end of the back straight!!!
GOD I hate the penalty system on GT!!!!


Is it just me or do these cars handle a bit differently to the ones in prologue?

I think it's just us on oople playing Tel

The physics are totally different to the last games, they have weight transfer pretty much down now but the grip level is far too low.

I hope the real 370z isn't as piss poor as the one in the game!

I have the demo, and to be quite honest i hate it, i think it'll take time to get use to it :L I'll stick with DiRT 2 demo atm

jesus its hard. cars handle horrible. kinda addictive but not all that. colin mcrae dirt 2 is still the one for me though. the 350z on that looks and handles ace and sounds amazing. think they got rally on gt5 hope its up to scratch. track racing just aint got the thrill of off road.

Dirt 2 is awesome, I love it. However, I would rather see some real life wrc stages on there. I remember on WRC 2 (iirc), there were the official wrc stages ,including halfway etc.

Don't like the fact that they've done away with the roof cam.
I prefered that view as I don't like the bumper cam and don't like the behind view, so the roof cam was a nice inbetween view....so that doesn't help my times. (any excuse! lol)

Gonna have a go later and see what I can do.

just had a go on gt5 no where near your times just gone round in 1:45 secs in the tuned car that ranked me 17491 first go though thats my excuse anyway

Ouch that demo is hard! I think I've read somewhere that the physics are set to a "pro" mode on this demo, presumably the full game will have the pro and not so pro modes to choose from to make it more playable, like there was in the prologue game.

Def makes it tricky to get a smooth lap in without a whole load of practice...which to be honest I can't be bothered with on a 1 track time trial demo....there are better things to do...like dirt 2, or mw2

Still can't wait for the full game though...reckon/hoping it'll be awesome!

Its really hard unless you have a steeing wheel, as that's what all of the fastest people are using.

Anyway I am 1305th in the Standard and 8035th in the Tuning. Need more practice and to be smoother.
