Jimmy, how about making a dedicated Serpent section?

Your wish is my command!

Serpent have a lot of new and exciting stuff on the way so perhaps it's about time they had their own section!

LOL! Its not as thrilling as on road but its racing so I like it! Hence the X10 and B4 which sit in front of me now-ready for selling.
Just waiting for a new car to re-ignite my offroad interest

One thing, in electric off road you CAN do well with normal shop equipment unlike touring cars which you cant, hence why looking forward to buggy racing and not bothering with touring again-never make an electric touring A final at a national unless some serious eqiupment is thrown your way no matter how well you can drive!

I heard the rubber tyres were a bit, uhmm, slick. I saw this when I went to Serpent and it looks a bit tasty I have to say.

nah they got tread on em (well grooves)

serously the rubber tyres that come with the kit are fairly hard and i got em up to 40c and they just started to work but the car was a handfull (supose like the real thing) to get off the line but brake and cornering were ok

bolt some foams on and its far easier and quicker

Anyone got info on the coming Serpent buggies? Is there gonna be a sponsored UK driver in 2008?

I guess the 4WD will be similar to the A-1, a molded+revised version of the Durango. But what about 2WD? Was there a good 2WD Durango as well? Similar to the coming A-C S2 or what?

Gerd made a chassis for the B4 but I don't think that there are any plans for a 2WD right now. I wouldn't assume the serpent 4wd will be moulded or like the A1 either - from what I've heard.

So they will probably stick to a CNC-machined chassis/parts?

news of S500:

The car will be shown in Nurnberg Toyfair at first. feb 2008.

The proto-type has been improved lot and to make the car price-friendlier, we have made many parts in plastic too.
Expect release around may 2008.
