Default Lipo battery, will it last a race?

I'm looking to replace my NiHM batteries for Lipo, but don't want to spend too much money.

I've come across a core-rc battery 4000mahr and 20c

Will it last the 5 minute duration of a race?

The motor is a 6.5t which I think draws up to 60amps, so if my calculations are right, the battery would last 4 minutes with the motor at full power? You don't race at full speed so it should easily last more than the 5 minutes?

If you manage to dump in 5 minutes it will be a miracle. You'll be fine mate

Yep, that will be fine, make sure you set the lipo cut off at no less than 3v per cell.
I think you will find that after a five minute race that you end up putting between 1500 and 2000ma back in.

There were 4wd cars at last years ebor 24hr race doing 25mins with 4200mah lipo's (with a 10.5).
I regularly run my 6.5 b44 for 10mins without getting close to dumping
