spurs and pinions

our boyo has stripped a spur, the car is a mardave vrx ce it has a 73 tooth white delrin spur 48dp, why can i only find ones for sale upto 50 odd strange, if this is the case and i bought a say 52 tooth spur what size pinion should we buy he only has a 25 tooth pinion at the mo, cheers lads he is running 1s lipo, 12t ezerun combo if this helps...

Where can i find a gear ratio chart for 32dp and 48dp ? I'masking because i've got a mardave which was sold to me with 48dp spur and i want to compair it to 32dp.

If you are useing a rear diff i think you can put any spur gear make on it.
If it is a z-drive they do the 48dp from Mardave but they are not on the website i had to ring up for one.

down load this spreadsheet

just put in spur gear size for either 32, 48 or 64dp to compare them

enter spur in yellow box and press enter

you can change the tyre size also

Divide the number of teeth on the spur by 48 then X by 32
