A decent turn out today with four heats, split between 2 and 4wd. The new HOT BODIES D4 buggy was in attendance in the capable hands of Adam Skelding from HPi UK. Speaking of new cars, the 'SLIM TIM' was in attendance, a home-brew mid motor 2WD buggy with narrow 'durango style' chassis. UGLY as hell, but seemed good on the track. Claire Armstrong from the local newspaper came along for an article about R/C racing - and she raced my Keen Hawk review car for all four qualifiers and final - dedicated! Stuart Wood took the TQ in 4WD - whilst Richard Lowe took the A final, Stuart having to settle for 2nd after a roll put him back a little. |
