BATLEY BUGGY CLUB - Club Meeting / 6th April 2008

Outdoors at last - the numbers were fairly low at around 22-23 or there abouts but with other clubs nearby also running it was to be expected. The weather looked promising but the hail came down hard into round four of qualifying and then the snow started. The meeting was cancelled half way through the fourth round.

I was racing the Tamiya Durga for the first time outdoors - I was using new GRP cone spike tyres and went to a 12 turn orion vantage, the car was dialled with very little change from the indoor setup, only raising the rear end slightly to cope with the bumps.
