I had a nightmare in qualifying, racing both the Lazer and the Yokomo BX I had electric problems, shell coming off mid race, wrong tyres and hail storm. For the final I chose to run the yomomo BX again and this time, using Ian Barnards pink ballistics I was able to go from 10th on the grid to winning by a good margain. It was great to take the new car and win with it, even if it was my worst performance at a National ever! Unusually Cragg and Bradby were in the B final, not where they had hoped, but there were still 3 Yokomos in the A final. The day was won by Richard Taylor, back on top with the XX4, with Tom Yardy loosing out by only 1 second after they both won a leg of the A final each and tied on points. |
