The North West regional series concluded at Bury Metro - the final round in the 6-leg series split between the two mighty North Western clubs, Southport and Bury Metro. Overall winner in the popular 2WD class was Stuart Wood driving the Kyosho RB5 for R.B. Models and oople. Winner of the 4WD series was Barry Weldon driving the Kyosho ZX-5.

The weather on the day was pretty rotten, coupled with the fact I wanted to win the last round of 4WD after coming so close several times - so I kept the camera tucked safely in the car and missed all the racing action. It was someones bright idea to get me to present the trophies which seemed like 'a bit of a laugh' - forgive the mad faces.

Well done to everyone involved and especially the oople drivers and even more especially Stu Wood for bringing home the honours in 2WD.
