hi guys just got a novak xrs working great forwards and reverse as the meeting went on lost reverse still had forward and brake i was using 4 cells 4200 and a 20 turn motor any idears why reverse stopped got a nice smell to it?

You should have got an MRT, they are bulletproof :thumbsup:

Did they send you home then as you cannot race there without reverse :lol:

How much were you reversing. - Reverse on most speedos with it fitted is designed for intermittant use, for short durations of a few seconds at a time.

If you start trying to drive in reverse at full throttle for any length of time, or if you keep pulling on reverse when something is stopping the car from moving you can quite easily overload the fets used for reverse, and it won't work anymore.
