What does everyone use to cover the vent holes, still let air in, but keep the debris out?

I believe you can get it from
Halfords in the body repair section

I've never used it myself, but there is a very fine mesh you can buy, it's used for bridging holes before fibreglass.

Normally can be bought in A5 sheets, from most good car shops & maybe Halfords. It will be near all the fibreglass gear.

I use fly screen mesh ! It's easy for me to get hold of as I sell and install all types of blinds ! Also easy to fit , I hot melt glue it into place
