What do people think of the motors are they better suited to 2wd or 4wd, do they have a smooth power delivery?:)

£130!!!! You need to look at the prices on our website then..............

The feedback on them so far is great, the motor in particular is fantastic.

I run a 6.5 in my 2wd and a 4.5 in my touring car, both are very good

Darren

do you know why the 10.5 is listed as mod & not included as a BL spec motor?

Looking at them, are they just re-packaged novaks?

which system would peeps recommend for a 4wd, the 4.5 or the 6.5?

Stange there is no 5.5

Glenn,

Not sure why the 10.5 is not shown as a stock class spec, it should be

Medders,

On a fast flowing track a 4.5 is good in 4wd but on smaller more technical curcuits a 6.5 would be better. I am led to believe that a 5.5 is on the way from them soon also according to inside info from Horizon

I've run the 6.5T in my 4WD X-5 (19/108) and it didn't lack anything in terms of speed or punch.

In fact, it's a shame cos I couldn't use it as the excuse why I was so rubbish:woot:

Definitely thumbs up - the ESC is easy peasy to program with the smart card idea.

Preddy ran the 4.5T in his XX-4 at the BRCs last weekend and it looked scarily quick - mind you his cars always do...

Do you know if it was submitted? I guess from the point of view of anyone wanting to go spec racing, if it's not on the list it can't be used.

You would need to direct that questrion at David Spashett ay Horizon, he deals with all of that stuff.

The current Losi 10.5 doesn't meet the BRCA EB spec for spec motors.

Medders - I ran a 6,5 in my 4wd everywhere in the 2nd half of the season, assuming your cells are half decent it will be plenty fast enough. A 4.5 is for the insane!

Mostly i am crap with a computer. Got a nice shiney lap top for 'home'. Home i feel will stretch to the track where i can piddle about with the curves brakes etc. I hooked it all up..in seconds i felt i was on the F1 circuits.....or Superbikes coz they are better. It really is simple to use.
Just need to get a anti crash system.
You can drop the top end down....which is what i will do until i can drive!

Dms 115 quid...great back up, job jobbed really:thumbsup:

I ran a 6.5 at the f3's and it was much faster than most others 5.5's! Im going 6.5 in 4wd, 7 or 8.5 in 2wd.

I've got an 8.5 which with Lipo is what I'll likely run indoors at Worksop.
