ok so ive got my airbrushes and compressor running again and after some good advice from guys on here and mike parker trackside i got the liquid mask out
been a while since i did some airbrushed shells and im really enjoying it.
so here are my first two shells done with liquid mask
more to come as well

nice one gainsy
heres buds shell, hes never let me down with his diff balls so i thought id better put the effort in on his shell..
im really happy with this one , better drop shadows and sharper lines, a bit of ghosted checks on the back and tinted windows to,
rcs mask is great and so is water based paint , sooo much nicer to work with:thumbsup:

Well his balls are silky smooth so he needed a silky smooth paint job to go with them ;)

so here are si coes new shells for his 210 and 410 durangos
they are penguin shells from ebay
the problem is he has to keep his shells painted the same so his wife wont notice if he gets a new car:woot:
so i had to base the design around those colours
please see the bmax shell in pic 1{i didnt paint that one}
and then my two shells
they took some time but im pretty pleased with the result

so jony sent me two shells for his electric 8ths
these are my firdt 8th shells done with liquid mask i was happy with the amount of space i had to work with, but i still kept the design simple so the skulls would stand out . rcs mask is ace im really enjoying painting these shells.hope to get some more paint soon so some wild designs could be coming

it was always gonna be a drift spec shell so one lamp is like a cheeky wink just wanted it to be a bit differant.its come out pretty good really
the other is wrapped in graphics , here it is pretty much complete with alloy intercooler, spoiler , plates and disks . might add wipers and an exhaust yet though

also done this k1 shell for danny. its got a pearl over the yellow pinstripe and the black has a snakeskin effect in purple under it
came out very very well

glad you like it mate , i no you wanted a really minimal design an colour scheme on it , which made it a nice easy job i must admit, but the snakeskin effect on the back really works well
i reckon it will look ace shimmering in the sun this year on burys new track
