Wonder when it will me available in de EU. EDIT: www.teamyokomo.eu has it on pre order and shipping on 29-12 (no year stated :eh?:)

I really like the body and lcg gearbox.

I dont understand why Yokomo would release a bmax2 V3 and V3 Factory, and now this YZ-2 in such short succession?

Car has been in development for a while now and Yokomo said a while ago that there were no upgrades to expect for the B-Max2 anytime soon... and something new was in the pipeline. Well, there it is. I'm curious and will receive some of course. Car looks great.

I don't think the bmax2 cars need any upgrades, they work awesome on the tracks they are intended for. Purely high traction tracks were always a compromise, and this new car looks to address them.

Well i see some things that my B-max would need, like that wing holder with screws and buttons or those suspension mounts.

Won't buy, sorry. Can't have 3 cars for each track. I know how much yokomo and every other brand would like my wallet, but no.

I like the added tunability in the YZ.

B-max4 style rear toe and kick-up changes using bushings.
And front caster can be changed with bushings in the C-hub.

My issue is that I don't know which color I'm going to paint the body.. :p

Just curious how it will perform. Yokomo tests are good. It's faster than the B-Max4 III :o (at least, that's what they told me ), but that's probably in the hands of Naoto. He's fast with everything.

Great (late) christmas present. Will be available (and probably in most shops, don't know about Yokomo in the UK) just before the new year.

Car looks awesome, can't wait to build and run mine. I do like the new black alloy parts and hard coated shocks, the blue look was good, but love hte refresh.
I may have to go to a few more full carpet/astro indoor tracks to do some winter testing. My usual low traction tracks will be a struggle. I don't mind the fact I have three 2wd cars for each track type. At least you know there is a car for the job, rather than compromising. To be fair, my last astro meeting (of the year) with my then new KF (competition prize) was a revelation, that car was so good on the astro after struggling to get my BMAX2-MR to work right all summer. I was hoping Yokomo would come up with a solution, and indeed they have.

Given how the forward weight bias looks, I'd say you wouldn't be doing yourself any favours trying to run this on low traction tracks.

On the corner weight scales:
BMAX2MR - Mid, Front: 37%, Rear: 63%
Schumacher KF - Front: 41%, Rear: 59%
DEX210v2 - Front: 38%, Rear: 64%
BMAX4 III (both chassis') - Front: 46%, Rear: 54%

I've not measured the BMAX2 rear car.

There is probably more to it than just this, but i suspect the weigh bias is closer to a 4wd car.

Well this car renders mid motored B-MAX2 useless. There wasn't any other reason to race a Mid motored car than on high traction surfaces like carpet and astro. Except maybe american type treated clay, indoor with sauce on tires.
I don't see a reason for someone having a B-MAX other than racing with RM configuration on dirt.

So now the question is... sell the B-max and buy this, or become homeless but have both?

I really like the design, finally a high-grip car with low CoG without the 4WDish inefficient 90 degree redirection of the power flow or belt drive. When I come to think of it, the last competition touring cars with the spur gear as high as traditional 2WD buggies vanished almost ten years ago. What took the buggy engineers so long?! I guess we will see similar designs from other manufacturers before long. For dirt and low-grip astro, I think I'll keep my Firebolt DM, maybe with the cf chassis, but as my hometrack has really nice astro and will be expanded next year, this is exactly what I have been waiting for before I even knew it! :p

Yes, the price tag is a bit on the steep side, but I want that piece of kit nonetheless. :)
As for the Firebolt, I did not suffer any of the breakages others suffered so far, but I do not have enough track time to compare its durability with my B-Max of old. However, it did not flinch when I hit some concrete track elements, but the brass bulkhead left its mark in the plastic front plate. I guess the aluminum front plate and the less brittle front end plastic compound scheduled for late December will remain any of those problems. VBC Racing really cares.

Back to the YZ-2, though. I guess they went back to the old-school name because they won almost all their off-road IFMAR worlds titles with YZ-named cars. I really hope that Lee, Naoto, or another driver will bring them a buggy title, their last one was Masami's '97 title with the MX-4.

I race on carpet and this would be ideal as the KFs piss on the bmax2. In high grip the bmax2 lacks front end on power because it goes light even with the brass bulkhead and then oversteer off power. If you push really hard which you do to keep up with the front motor cars it lacks consistency.

This car would be ideal.

I disagree. We race on mixed traction (Gym floors with strips of carpet, or cork running tracks) tracks that the mid motor clearly is faster than the rear car, but this new car will struggle with.
I ran my KF (high traction kit) and it was next to useless on these surfaces, but is unbeatable on high traction. I'm assuming that this will drive more like the KF on the high traction, so will be comparably bad on the low.

mes
11-12-2014, 09:21 PM
On low traction, it depends on your driving style whether you are faster with MM or RM. As I don't like the point and shoot driving style required for RM cars, I prefer MM also on dirt. Feel free to check out my Firebolt DM review (http://www.petitrc.com/setup/vbcracing/setupfireboltdm/FireboltDM_MarkusSchmidt_Review/), in which I tested the car on dirt and liked it better than my RM B-Max2. Maybe I should have tried the Yoke in MM on dirt, too. ;)

Having been a DIE-HARD AE fan since starting ( I've owned other stuff, but my race cars have always been AE.

I scored a Bmax2MR for cheap and have been slowly making it my Mod car. The 2 local tracks- 1 indoor clay- lSpace and the dirt have a ong history, but new management is useless, and no hobby shop to support the track) and the new track is Carpet Offroad, running both onroad, oval and offroad with Ozite carpet base.

I am planning on dumping my Centro 4.2/ B4.2 cars and switching to Yoke. I'll keep my current MR for dirt, and order the new one for carpet. Cant wait.

I don't understand why some folk are rendering this car useless on looser surfaces already. The car isn't even out yet!

Yeah the motor is in a slightly more forward position and the geometry seems to be slightly different but that doesn't mean it ain't gonna work.

I've seen plenty of KF's working on looser surfaces.

Let's just wait and see.

I agree with Disco,

My TM2v2 is probably the best wet car I've ever ran despite being a proper forward motor design, I certainly find it more predictable in the wet than my previous RB6 even using a geared diff.

I'm more interested to know how this design is supposed to be more effective in high grip compared with the proper forward motor's such as TM2v2's and KF? To me this this just looks like an updated mid motor car similar in layout to the 22 2.0.

Am I missing something? What about this design is supposed to give the advantage over forward motor?

I also agree with Chris and Disco as per my earlier post. The motor is way further forward on a KF for a start and it's also about driving style.

I used the B5m at rhr dirt which should have been useless and James used his KF for a while too.

I think this new car will be great on both surfaces.

With respect guys I don't think £319 for that spec of car is pricey at all. The RB6 was £370 when first released then you would spend another 50 quid on the ally adjustable rear hangers to really help with tunability.

Then let's look at the KF, I think the best price for the kit I've seen is around £255. Then to get the car to team spec (which they all run regardless of low/high grip) you need the low grip conversion which uses shorty packs at another 70 quid plus you may need new batteries if you only have saddles too. Not to mention the alloy gearbox mount you need if you wish to run the shocks on the rear and alloy caster blocks and hubs for strength you are struggling for change from £500!!

Then there are the conversions such as the new Associated 3 gear B5m, XFactory X6S and Rudebits DB2. These cars require donor cars to complete making them a very expensive way to go. The X-Factory for example, if all parts required to build were brand new would stand you at over £600 when completed! That's astronomical!

This Yokomo kit seems to offer all the obvious tuning possibilities in the box and for a fair price imo.

The only designated high grip car that works out cheaper is the Team C TM2v2 at £265 which is a superb car to drive even In medium to low grip conditions and has a similar spec to the Yokomo making it excellent value for money.

KF is £500+ for a team spec car, one that does seem to work on low traction tracks.
I have the high traction regular kit only, which is useless on low traction. I refused to spend £250+ making it work as a compromised low traction car when I have both a bmax2 mid and rear cars which work great on those tracks.

UK price for YZ-2 of £319 seems a little higher than a regular 2wd car, but it comes with lots of nice pieces and will work out the box. Mine is pre-ordered anyway, i'll be sure to try it on low traction when I get it in the new year. I've not written it off (on low traction), but I'd be surprised if its better than the existing cars on the low traction tracks (like York/Batley indoor), given its design brief.

Going back to price, a-main have the yz-2 for $349, making it considerably cheaper than EU and UK price. ¥46,200 JPY price equals roughly £250/$389.
Sure import duty, vat and a bit of channel profit add a bit to final UK price, but it does show we pay more in EU/UK for our imported goods. Then again, look at xray/schumacher prices for stuff produced in EU/UK (Schumacher do produce a lot of their kit parts in UK, and some bits do go out to China).
Paying for the best is never going to be cheap ;-)

And now the big question...

Will they discontinue B-Max2? That is my concern.
In their press release they state that tracks have gone "high traction". Do they mean that there is no turning back, or lets just have two cars to suit your needs, with parts support for both of them?

Overall nice design for high grip tracks

What is with the carbon shock towers? Are they trying to save investment cost on not paying out on tooling for a plastic injection mold.

I know the carbon towers on the bmax-4 III break very easily and take out the gear box mounts. Where as the plastic towers are indestructible.

The shocks look like a huge upgrade over the v.3 design have the reversed engineered the Kyosho units and the coating and put X rings inside?

Are they using a sliding rack mechanism like the losi 22 and the tc3? If so i hope the have got it to work.

discothesnake
12-12-2014, 01:11 PM
Carbon shock towers on 4wd are spot on. Done a full season with car and I've only broken 2 front wishbones so I think the shock towers will be fine.

It doesn't have a sliding mechanism for the steering. Theres a picture of it earlier in the post.

skyaflake
12-12-2014, 01:14 PM
Nothing wrong with carbon towers, i use both a front and rear on my b-max2 and none broke. Carbon is strong (enough) and light. It's not weird that some towers snap on the B-Max4 (knocks on wood), the tower is much easier to hit and thus brake. I still run the 3MM since i haven't broken it. I know people who run the 4MM and they haven't broken anything.

I don't think that the B-Max2 will be discontinued soon, it's a different platform. But I think that the B-Max2 had some serious development the last year (and a half) and the car is 'done' (at least for a while now). So parts will still be available (some parts with the YZ2 are interchangeable), that's no problem. Lots of tracks in EU/JP are indeed high traction, in the US it's still a lot of... well, very low grip tracks.

I'm also curious about the shocks, I like the current (with the new shock bottoms) shocks very much though.

Am I missing something? What about this design is supposed to give the advantage over forward motor?

Chris

Chris, having the motor transverse and the very low CofG are the key to the KF's ability to run "better than it should" in lower grip conditions.

The transverse motor will produce a torque reaction fore-aft rather than side to side meaning that the car is less likely to rotate as you jump on the throttle.
On very high grip it's not very noticeable but as the grip goes it becomes much more so.

I think this is the first of many cars designed with the 2015 worlds in mind.
Looks good to me, can't wait to see what Kyosho / Losi / AE etc. do to compare with it, sure at least one of them will.

Chris Elworthy
12-12-2014, 03:01 PM
Thanks Roger,

To me this car looks like more of an all rounder, similar to the RB6 than a designated high grip car. People are wondering whether this car will be suited to lower grip surfaces and going off the pictures I would say it would for sure. The car has the motor, while a little further forward than most conventional mid motor's is still at the rear to all extents and purposes with the cells through the middle.
That's what puzzles me? This car from the pictures at least just looks like a very modern conventional mid motor so how is this car being marketed as a "high grip car"? The current crop of designated high grip cars are proper forward motor's, with no geared transmissions to play with giving direct power which is a benefit when the grip is up. Associated have tried to make their B5m more suited to high grip by releasing a 3-gear transmission where this Yokomo continues along the regular path of 4-gear.

This is why I asked, I just can't work out which design feature of this car is supposed to allow this car to be able to lap as quickly and consistently as the likes of the Tm2v2 and KF? If this car can rival these chassis in average hands you may have the perfect all round package but I'm still struggling to see it from the pics and blurb.

The new YZ-2 looks awesome and the old school name alone sells it to me.

mes
12-12-2014, 04:35 PM
I bet the YZ-2 will work very well in all conditions not requiring a gear cover so to speak, i. e. everthing except very dusty dirt tracks, and even there it might work with a shorty battery to the rear, the ESC mounted on the battery strap to increase chassis roll, and some brass rear suspension mounts. I don't know if weight distribution is so much different to the KF and the converted 4WDs when running with saddles, the centre of the car is crammed with stuff up to the servo in the front in all three designs. At least the Yokomo does away with a belt and eliminates torque steer, that is why I fell in love with this new YZ incarnation right from the start. :wub
With my Thunder Power saddle packs, I don't see any issues regarding the battery strap. Their connectors are way more outside than those of the Yokomo packs.
The 3-gear B5M is not tailored to high-grip surfaces but rather to stock racing. Don't forget that 17.5 turn blinky racing is huge in the US, and 'stock' racers want/need to shave off every single gram of (rotating) mass to be competitive, hence the lightweight MIP puck drives, aluminum topshafts, slipper eliminators etc.

Would I be right in thinking it's most like to come with a gear diff seeing as it's a 'high-grip' car?

Hopefully it'll be the same diff as current car that way the ball diff would fit.

There is a lot more to the low or high grip than the motor position, high corner speeds on a high grip surface is also to do with the roll centre.
Having all of the components being as low to the axel centres is what gives the car it's high corner speed with out rolling over (grip roll).

The more mass above the axel centre creates chassis roll which loads the out side wheel which then increases the grip to the outside wheel untill either the cars rolls over or breaks away in a slide.

The Mass that is transferred to the rear in acceleration is where forward motor or battery position is critica, if all the mass is around the front of the car then less is transferred to the rear and the wheels spin up once the grip of the tyres becomes less than the mass that is being moved forwards.

So if a car has the right mass to give the optimal grip for forward traction and has the laterial weight below the axel centres will in theory work in any surface

I am not a designer so may have put a simplistic view on this so anyone one that is a designer please correct me.

Think u hit the nail with this, with any schumacher kit you can buy what the team are running. You defo can't say that for AE, schumacher team run a proto part, it works, you can buy it. I don't think when the kf was born they thought it would replace the sv2 and the kr, I think testing happened and the result is what we have now, you can buy a team car, with in weeks of them testing the new parts. I say well done schumacher!

Must admit it looks like a nice piece of kit!

Judging by the colours of the shell (lee martins) in the pics I can only assume Lee, Naoto and Shin have all been putting there input to the car and testing!

I'm sure this car won't disappoint! Given the pedigree of those involved!

With the worlds being held in Japan on Astro at Yatabe arena it will be interesting to see if the other RC manufactures come out with something similar! ;)

My vote went for dirt:thumbsup:

They did not run on dirt last time, and they did not run on dirt at the nitro wc either. They ran on sugar and concrete, which looked like clay from a distance. IMHO lobbyism from PL, JC, and AKA will play a major role if 'clay' will be chosen, although it does not make any sense - unless you want to continue to sell slick/bar-type buggy tyres, that is. :p
As for the gearbox, I heard just yesterday that AE has something similar in the conceptual phase, whether for production or just another stealth car.

That would be great but i don't think the dots are correct.

In addition it would mean it comes with 2 CF front shock towers and 2 body's (1 Light weihgt)
2 gear diffs and a maintenance kit.

Btw, the kit has been delayed to 9th of januari

Just noticed that the YZ rear arms look a lot like the Bmax4III rear arms

I did not know about it before, but after checking google I think it is quite possible that my source meant the redworkshop chassis. I would not be surprised to see them running the finished product at the worlds and decide afterwards whether to do a version of their own, just like they did with the Centro -> B5M and the Avid aluminum chassis and converted Durango gear diffs -> B44.3.

But back to topic, has anyone heard when the manual will be online?

Looking at the exploded view of the chassis and side pods it looks like you can run saddle packs down the centre of the chassis as well as across. But going off the photos it wouldn't be possible unless you have a small ESC and low profile servo. Even then it's looking tight for space.

I'll soon find out mid January unless it's delayed again (like the B-Max4 III was).

I can't wait to get my hands on one. Looks like the B-Max2 will be getting converted to rear motor in preparation for the outdoor season in case it's wet.

Looks like a stubby servo is essential to get the most space for speedo and receiver.

Bmax 2 MR is awesome in rear motor config with a shorty pack forward, speedo under rear tower and a heavy front bulkhead.

Unfortunately my Japanese is not good enough to read the setup sheet... Are those low-profile or normal cut staggers on wide rims? I remember I tried the normal cut stagger premounts some years ago, but it quickly became obvious that modifying your wheels and mounting LP cut staggers is worth the extra effort.

I think he uses the LP cut staggers, on wide rims to reduce grip.
The wide rim pulls the middle of the tire down.

And is it me, or does he run more shims under the right inner ball stud, than the left side?

Shin, Naoto and Lee all seemed to run low profile cut staggers on uncut rims since last trip out (for Lee) in Oct. I recall seeing photos of their cars then.

It does look like the shims are more one side. Maybe to ease the car on one side more than the other due to the layout? Shin does answer questions via facebook, if you try. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100007474418393

Going by the latest pictures, are we to assume (as I've heard various disagreements on this), that shocks to the front of the wishbone for high grip and shocks to the rear for low? The reason I say this as that Shin's picture has them on the rear for his clay testing.

I've seen so much conflicting info on this. I will try them both. My first meeting with the car is going to be on 50/50 polished wood and carpet. Trying to decide whether to build it with shocks on the rear to start.

I had an XB4-2WD before and the car was far more stable with shocks on the rear. On low grip the car was undrivable with shocks to the front.

neallewis
29-12-2014, 12:46 PM
Yes Allan, I'll probably build it shocks rear for starters, gven the similar low traction tracks i run on indoors. by the looks of it, its an easy task to swap them, just needing a second wing and a strip cut off the body. i suspect the body will fit either ok when cut.

the Bmax 2 car has the shocks rear mounted. on the KF, the high grip kit came with forward mounted shocks, and rhe first thing i was told to do by team drivers was to move them to the rear, even on high traction. sure different chassis, but clearly the shock position has a big influence on handling.

You sould be able to install the VXX on the chassis, it is quite narrow.

I plan to use a full size servo, VX3 and receiver on the front.
Tight but should be ok.

With a low profile servo and some planning ahead you could even have space to fit the capacitor plate on the chassis.
Mine will be located on the servo.

Looking at the instruction manual it looks to be roughly the same amount but still a ball ache of a job and there's the spacers under the gearbox to contend with.

It's definitely not a club night job. :bored:

Are you guys really having to use a variety of spring options?

Here at my local tracks, (One Indoor Dirt, the other indoor carpet) the setup seems to be pretty standard. Not a whole lot of changes.

For Clay:

http://www.petitrc.com/setup/yokomo/setupbmax2/Bmax2MR_MarkA_Portand201401/

*his carpet setup isn't published...*

Mark- who is a friend of mine and the only local Yoke racer has a pretty locked in setup. He finds that the Blue springs seem to be the go-to spring and just small adjustments to oil are all that are needed.

I plan to make the YZ a dedicated Carpet car only.

How are your carpet tracks? Mixed surface or does anyone run Ozite?

I've heard those rubber gasket have a role beside the flat gearbox on how the car handles, giving maximum traction yet an easy car to drive.

dpackster1980
02-01-2015, 07:34 PM
So it must allow a slight flex, interesting.

It'll be good if it works as there doesn't look like the chassis has much give in it especially with the sides being angled rather than the usual flat plate.

neallewis
03-01-2015, 01:06 AM
If it was an open bottomed gearbox but it's not and it's under the motor plate brace as well.

i always seal the bottom on my bmax2 with tape, cut to shape and stuck to bottom of gearbox case. have done since the first rebuild of my v1 after i ran it outdoors.

Not sure of thinkness of this gasket, but i can't see why its there for flex? it would surely mention it in the manual?

mes
03-01-2015, 08:37 AM
It won't make the chassis more flexible, the number of screws holding the drivetrain components is still the same. Maybe there is a little more flex in the upper suspension components attached to the gearbox due to the rubber pads under the gearbox, but that's about it.
When one of AE's touring cars (TC5?) came out and the topdeck was too thick for rubber tyres and tarmac tracks, people made the car more flexible by placing O-rings under the topdeck screws IIRC. Do you think such a rather thin rubber pad close to a machined aluminium chassis plate will affect handling as much?

Bastos
03-01-2015, 11:41 AM
Following Shin discours ...it will help in torsion...we should try with and without gasket...
On a similar way, the O-Ring under the battery plate...
They have taken lot of attention on torsion aspect I think...

neallewis
03-01-2015, 11:46 AM
Possibly to stop vibrations in the drivetrain transferring to the chassis, which could affect handling? The gasket is too thin and will be screwed up tight and compressed to allow for any amount flex between the gearbox/motor plate and chassis.

Our trusty spies are at it again, this time finding themselves at RC Champ Stadium in Japan. This is an indoor clay offroad facility, where it just so happens that legendary Atsushi Hara was spotted behind the wheel of the new Yokomo YZ-2 1/10 2wd buggy. Due to the fact SWORKz does not offer a 2wd buggy at this time, Hara was not just borrowing a friends radio, instead he was in fact testing the new buggy for his own use. It is said that the YZ-2 will be his weapon of choice for the upcoming Reedy International Race of Champions 2wd class. Hara will attack the Reedy Race 4wd buggy class using the latest SWORKz 1/10 4wd buggy.

Guess that sorts out who the other top line driver for Yokomo is apart from Lee

From hard to soft. So lower is harder. According to my information. Springs are said to be "all-round" springs.

Front:
YS-A750 Orange
YS-A775 Green
YS-A800 Pink
YS-A850 Red
YS-A875 Yellow
YS-A900 Gold

RRP is £295. I'm from the Netherlands and we (Dutchies ;)) don't want to pay too much for our stuff :p. Well, obviously, I don't care. I pay for quality as well ;).

But it doesn't matter, as long as you make fun with the car. I'll be building mine Sunday I guess. Will check out the kit today. Body has to go to the painter as well.

About spares? I would take: Front arms and front hubs and maybe some hinge pins. Just drive the thing. The only thing I broke on the B-Max2 are a couple of front hubs (maybe 2/3) on a indoor venue with weird borders.

Ive just got shocks to build, motor and esc to wire and fit, and body to spray. car is a lovely build top quality and is quite different from bmax.

I'll try measure caster blocks later, but I'd suggest it wouldn't work too well on bmax. will require the matching kinkpins, knuckle arms with carbon pieces. i think they will shift akerman angle as the steeting crank is designed to fit with it.

As far as I could feel and see (i only took the body out of the kit to ship it to the painter) - quality is indeed better than the B-Max2. More comparable with the B-Max4 quality, which has better plastics and alu.

Haven't checked it out more in detail. Will build mine on Sunday, but will play around a bit with Paultje040 his YZ-2 on Saturday.

Quite curious about how it will perform. A new platform to understand.

But you have to have a ball diff out far more than a gear ?

Shocks are awesome. Best shocks I've felt once filled with oil and ready to mount. I need to one can wonder my body and wire it tonight.

My Tetris skills came in handy when i was doing the electrics.
Pfff, having a tiny RX helps. Also a 2 pot cap helps out. The 4 pot that comes with a Speed Passion would cause headaches.

I'll ad some pictures later.

Your right there, not much space for electrics at all ! I'm running shorty too so there is a load of wasted space with the foam battery stopper which is a bit cheap in my opinion

Looks no tighter than my XMW, but that was a pain! Helps with a low pro servo and small receiver!
Would it be mad to try run a shorty down the centreline, anyone looked at that?

I use ceramic balls and find they last for ages at least half a season then flip the plates. I don't like the way a 2wd drives with a gear diff I think it makes them too twitchy.

What ball diff does one order, the Bmax one? Sorry not up to speed on modern Yokomo!

Just finishing off my build. Wiring done, apart from shortening servo leads. its a squeeze to get it all in.
Wheels on now, one can wonder body done. Just a wing to cut out and final ride height and camber setup to do tomorrow.

The car is super low and light and sleek. looks a winner:thumbsup:

It's ready to run friday night.

How are you guys building the shocks? Instructions say fill with oil, screw cap on, slowing press shock shaft in, wipe off excess oil then screw in the top grub screw. Done this but holds the shock shaft in, you pull it back out then it draws its way back in, it's like rebound in reverse :-/

Cracking kit to build tho, was a little dubious with the higher price, but it's finished to a very high standard

That's normal mate, just pump the shock a bit and it will settle down and work normally. That is how I build all my shocks.

Got to admit very tempted to pick one up, what's the kit Pistons out of interest?

Got to admit very tempted to pick one up, what's the kit Pistons out of interest?

Piston 1 = 2x 1.7mm
Piston 2 = 2x 1.6mm
Piston 3 = 2x 1.5mm

kit comes with a pair of each. They are moulded not machined, but the shocks are the best I've ever built, so this doesn't matter to me.

Six in stock as of now: http://www.rccarshop.co.uk/index.php/race-models/yokomo/b-yz2-yokomo-yz-2-high-grip-competition-2wd-buggy.html
You could be building it tomorrow

Cheers
