Going by your estimates that puts the sale at $983.47 by today current exchange rate (1 GBP = 1.40495 USD).

I agree that the amount that the seller wants is over the top, but it's his to sell ( if he can find a buyer will to shell out that amount in the current economic climate )

Hey you people dont realise how rare and important vintage tamiya kits are to collectors, this price is a bargain and if i was still collecting i would buy it in a heartbeat. But im not any more, so my stuffs for sale
- Tamiya frog brand new £2550
- and a Top Force evo, used for bashing since its release with home made plywood chassis bargain at £1750
